Richard writes regularly for the garden press, co-authored The Garden Maker's Manual and wrote the 'how to design' sections forthe RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Design.

2008                A Garden for Eden, 7 x 25 minute series for ITV. Amateur garden design competition. Design judge.

 

2001                Gardens by Appointment, 13 x 25 minute part series on garden design: Writer, designer and presenter. Two Four Productions for BBC UK Style, currently broadcast on UK Bright Ideas.

 

2002                      Water Gardens, 15 x 25 minute part series on water gardening: Anchor presenter and designer. Two Four Productions for BBC UK Style, currently broadcast on UK Bright Ideas

 

Various radio appearances on Radio Gloucestershire, Radio Cornwall, Radio Cleveland

 

Lectures on a regular basis to local landscape and garden clubs, Cheltenham Science Festival, etc.
